Industrial Buildings of Sakhalin II LNG Plant

Shell, Mitsubishi and Mitsui established the Sakhalin Energy Investment Company in 1994, which signed a production sharing agreement (PSA) with the Russian government to develop the Sakhalin II oil and gas deposits. As of 2007 the Russian state-owned Gazprom became the majority stakeholder in the Sakhalin II project.

The Sakhalin II project is not only of vital importance to Russia's energy policy but also is one of the biggest oil and gas developments in the world. The Sakhalin II LNG plant which is located in the south of Sakhalin Island is the first of its kind in Russia that will receive, treat, process and liquefy natural gas.
 
The scope of the contract included the infrastucture works, underground pipeline installation, reinforced concrete and precasted concrete works, steel construction works in some part of the industrial buildings of Sakhalin II LNG plant.
