Industrial Buildings of Astana City Water Supply and Sewerage Project-Astana, Kazakhstan

Alarko Contracting Group was awarded Astana City Water Supply and Sewerage Project in 2005 in order to provide water and sewerage facilities for Astana City, the capital of Kazakhstan.

The project includes the reconstruction of the 126 km long drinking water and sewage pipeline, the rehabilitation of the drinking water and sewage treatment plants, the construction of one water intake building and pump station at the Vyacheslavka lake that provides the city’s water, the rehabilitation of the 12 elevation pump stations on the city network, the reconstruction of 5 pump stations, the renovation of 153.000 meters and 55.000 manhole covers.

Within the scope of the project Tri Morya undertook the responsibility of civil works in the construction sites of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP). The work included all reinforced concrete works of all the high quality industrial buildings with different heights. Tri Morya executed concrete casting works in a volume of 10.140 m³, formwork application in a volume of 33.701 m², and reinforcement work in 1.119 tons.
